mechanical engineer

As a MechanicalEngineer at InnoFlex, you will develop, build, and fine-tune cutting-edgeplasma and photocatalytic reactor systems. This hands-on role provides a uniqueopportunity to make a tangible environmental impact and play a direct part inbringing innovative hardware solutions to market.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design: Develop reactor systems from concept to detail, optimize for materials, geometry, fluid dynamics/airflow, light/electrode     configurations, and scalability.
  • Prototyping: Build and assemble your reactor designs in our in-house workshop, working with various mechanical components and sub-systems alongside a team of technical experts.
  • Testing: Conduct experiments and performance tests on the reactors to evaluate efficiency, durability, and safety for the breakdown of ammonia and targeted greenhouse gases.
  • Optimization: Analyze experimental data and contribute to refining the reactor's structural design and operational parameters.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our internal R&D team and external partners. This multidisciplinary environment offers direct exposure to chemical and process engineering, vacuum technology, high voltage electrical systems, scientific instruments, custom PCBs, PLCs, and software.

We are looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience designing and developing mechanical systems, preferably within a startup, scale-up, or fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Software: Strong proficiency with CAD/CAE software for 3D modeling and technical drawing. Experience programming PLCs or     mechatronic controllers, and familiarity with basic software and     electrical integration, is a plus.
  • Prototyping Skills: Hands-on experience with 3D printing     (FDM/Resin), operating small CNC machinery, and general workshop power tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Experience performing basic thermal, fluid, or structural calculations and simulations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to convey technical concepts     clearly.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently within a collaborative team.
